The Warm and Fuzzies...

Here are some fun little accessories to go along with those snuggly days by the fire...

Fall To Me...

When I think of the Fall season, I always think of a more rustic and comfy feel.  Out with all of the bright colors, and in with the cozy leather and faux furs.  I also LOVE the mix and matching of un-finished woods with clean lines and modern white tones.  Then maybe throwing in some rich gem or earthy tones to the mix.  My favorite color trend this season is by far mustard yellows/saffrons.  It is kind of a color that hasn't shown its face in awhile and I am so happy to see it is back with a vengence.  I am seeing this color everywhere.  Now if only it wasn't 90 degrees at the end of September I could have a fire in my fireplace to complete this whole picture :)

Going Back to Geometrics...

I am seeing alot of geometric shapes lately, and I have to say I quite like it.  It's kind of whimsical, without being to feminine or girly.

Miso Childrens....

As alot of you probably already know, I have the sweetest little 3 year old daughter Paige.  With all of the sewing I do, some of the most fun to do are the things that I create with her in mind.  She is so full of life, and a total ham in front of the camera.  After coming up with ideas and testing them on her, I try to make a few items available to others on my Etsy shop.  I totally LOVE it when I know some cutie pie little kid somewhere is decked out in something I've made.

My Favorite Past time...

There is no denying my love for the yummy yummy goodness of coffee.  I have been sneaking sips from my dads coffee mugs for as long as I can remember.  I have also worked at one of the BEST coffee shop for about 7 years now.  This being said... I decided to make use of some of the burlap coffee bags that tend to stack up and alot of times go to waste.  I love the idea of turning something that once was seen as trash into something as cool as a pillow for peoples homes.  I have one placed on a chair at my dining room table, and another one on our bed.  They just add such a great un-expected texture and character.

Seeing Red...

Red is such s powerful color, and it seems to be very attractive to me right now.  I don't use alot of it to decorate my home, but I might have to rethink that.

Leah Duncan...

Ok, I am in LOVE with this artist.  Her color pallette is so soothing, and her patterns are both modern and soft.  I think I might have to order all of it.  I am really liking the geometric shapes coming back into trend.  What do you think?
