Lights Out...

  As allot of you have probably been seeing on the news...Seattle and all of the surrounding areas have been getting the snow piled on pretty thick.  My family and I live in Issaquah, which is north east of Seattle.  We have been getting a ton of snow this whole week, and yesterday we ended up with rain, which then froze causing a major power outage for thousands of residents including us.  Luckily the outage only lasted about 13 hours, and we have a gas fireplace that will ignite with the use of batteries. So we were able to keep warm to wait this storm out.  While snow is not my favorite thing in the World, it sure is pretty.

A Holiday For Love...

  I have always loved Valentines Day.  From way back in Elementary school when we use to have a Valentine Card exchange party...and now as I have gotten a little older (well allot older) I look forward to sharing little goodies and surprises with my honey and daughter. I have some good ideas for both of them this year. There is just something very sweet about this holiday.  Here are some ideas for you.  Some of them lavish and some of them D.I.Y.'s.  Have fun telling those special ones in your life how much you LOVE them.

New Childrens Shop Up & Running!

 
My new children's shop Lapineau (meaning little bunny in French) is open for business!  I decided to get back to what originally inspired me to start sewing, and creating...my daughter Paige.  Her innocence and imagination inspires me every day, and she is so much for to design for. There will be a good mix of handmade and vintage items.  I hope you all enjoy the things that pop up in the shop as much as we do!!!  xxooo  Little bunny kisses.

Sunshine...Please...

  Oh Seattle, how you are living up to your rainy reputation.  It has been blustery, rainy, and just plain miserable here for the last week.  So I have been on the hunt for some cheerful and "sunshiny" photos to keep myself from loosing it :)

New Years Eve...

 What are your plans for New Years Eve?  Will you be painting the town red with your girlfriends, going out with that someone special, or staying home by a cozy fire and a bottle of bubbly?  I haven't quite decided yet...I guess I better get on that.

Go Green For The New Year...

  Oh you probably thought I meant recycle more, or try to remember to turn off the lights when you leave the room.  But, I was thinking more literal.  Seriously, how fun is that green dress!  Being more environmentally friendly is a great thing too you just might as well do it while looking good.
